Good times at Jolly’s Indian Bistro

When it comes to Indian food in Vancouver, you can’t beat Vij’s, but tonight I discovered a great little restaurant called Jolly’s Indian Bistro at West 4th and MacDonald. The butter chicken was delicious and it was super affordable at only $9.  We had planned on going to Topanga but arrived during a rush and didn’t feel like waiting 15 minutes for a table. Jolly’s was intimate but busy and you could tell that lots of others discovered this little gem long before us.

  1. Rob,

Jolly’s is a major find, and definitely worth a visit once a week. The vegetarian thali (with the mango lassi included) — and that huge piece of succulent, oven-fired naan — all for a paltry $10 … there’s just no better deal in town. Did I mention that the food is great?

    sigh…..

Day Passes here @ the Institute are hard to come by and Sunday is my best chance to (legally() flee the madness…….
