Several Vancouver food websites, including Urban Diner, inform us that Fuel will be hosting the First Annual Hog Dinner.
The ‘Whole Hog’ menu will be available from October 17th – 20th […]. The five course menu is $55.00; add $35 for wine pairings
chosen by Sommelier Tom Doughty. Pork Selections to be featured on the
‘Whole Hog’ menu include: House-made Charcuterie, Braised Crown Bacon,
Stuffed Pig’s Ear, Crispy Sweetbreads and Roasted Saddle.
My wife and I had dinner at Fuel about a month ago and sampled some crown bacon. I think we are going to have to organize a babysitter.

Sounds like a great night out. I wish I was back in town to go to it!
Flying Tiger also does a mean pork dish that’s a staple item each time we go…well worth it.
