This time every year Kitsilano.ca is hit by locals looking for something to do in Kits for New Year’s Eve other than Malone’s. So I thought I’d point out a couple options this week now that Biminis is toast.
The Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. is hosting a New Year’s Eve Dinner and Laughs Show. Doors open at 8pm with cocktails followed by Chef Oliver Zulauf’s five-course dinner featuring a succulent rack of lamb. Once the plates have been cleared away, Mr. Dan Joffre (2 times winner of Just for Laughs) takes the stage, accompanied by his Comedy Crew for a 90 minute set. The evening wraps up with dancing until 1:30 am following a midnight dessert buffet. The $99 per person ticket price includes the five-course dinner, comedy show, party favours, a glass of BC sparkling wine to toast the New Year, and dancing. Not bad.
