The Red Bull Soapbox Derby will be shutting down West 4th Avenue from Burrard to Balsam from September 6th at 8pm until September 7th at 9pm. The closures will begin on Saturday evening and continue through to Sunday evening. Maple Street will be accessible for pedestrians and emergency vehicles. All cross streets between Burrard and Balsam will be closed from north of Fourth to the lane and south of Fourth to the lane. Arbutus and Cypress Streets will be open for north/south traffic until 5:00 am Sunday. VPD will be on site to monitor and re-route traffic through-out the area.
