The entertaining new blog on the block Vancity Buzz did a nice job today of profiling one of Kitsilano’s signature stores and local favourites Zulu Records.
We’ve talked about Zulu Records a few times here at kitsilano.ca (like here and here), and Zulu is certainly the type of store that deserves the attention, as evidenced by the fact that they (again?) ran away with the top spot in the Georgia Straight’s Best of Vancouver 2008 independent music store title.
It has been my intention to write more about existing Kitsilano stores (like Does Your Mother Know?) in addition to the continuous cycle of closings and openings, but thanks to Vancity Buzz I can strike Zulu Records off my list for now.
