Meinhardt at 16th & Arbutus is hosting a Singles Gourmet Foodies Tour on Saturday, June 6th from 10:00am to noon.
Our gastronomical adventure will begin at Kitsilano’s premiere grocery destination, Meinhardt; where we will have our own Department specialists who will guide us through the art of fine food, product identification and distinguishing regional differences. This selection of fine produce and products will temp our senses and inspire our next dinner party.
Armed with our knowledge, we will head to the Gourmet Food tasting area where we will be invited to sample some of the world’s finest olives, cheeses, meats and pastries while savoring the culinary styling from the chefs at Meinhardt.
So whether you are a foodie or just love epicurean pleasures, come for an afternoon of meeting new people and trying new things; you’ll find almost everything here, is hard to resist.
The tour is limited to 20 spots and costs $20 per person which includes a private tour, tastings and discounts off of purchases. Buy your ticket online here.

I suppose the pressure has increased on Meinhardt’s since Whole Foods opened up and also lessened-since they are no longer the most expensive food store in the city.
