- The inaugural Kitsilano Film Festival takes place from August 14th to 16th at the Russian Community Centre on West 4th – that’s the former Kitsilano Theatre which closed in 1955.
- VinoCamp & CheeseCamp takes places on August 8th at UBC – a full afternoon of tasting along with expert educational sessions on International wines and cheeses.
