Vancouver Police are investigating a homicide in a low-rise apartment building in the 2300 block of West 5th Avenue, between Vine and Balsam Streets.
Police responded to a 911 call at the ground floor unit around 1:00 pm for a disturbance call. Officers found a woman dead inside the suite and a man that “didn’t seem well.” The man was taken to hospital. His condition, and relationship to the victim, is not known.
Homicide investigators have taped off the perimeter around the three-storey building, as well as the alleyway behind the unit.
