1420

The Museum of Vancouver plans on answering this question on September 3rd at 7:00pm during their MOV TALKS: Is Vancouver the Next Great Cycling City? session.

vaccPanelists explore the idea that Vancouver is on the verge of becoming the next great cycling city, drawing on examples of comparable, transitional cities. Co-hosted by the Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition (VACC). Speakers include Sean McKibben, Director of Programming for VACC; and Amy Walker, Publisher of Momentum Magazine.

MOV TALKS  takes place at the Museum of Vancouver at 1100 Chestnut Street on Kits Point and is a free event with a cash bar.

  1. Vancouver is amazingly easy to get around by bike. There are lanes, and trails everywhere. Have a look on Translink for a map. For short distances, it’s easier and faster to bike than to drive or take transit.

    It’s almost European – almost.

    More power to them!

However, I would love the chance to give the VACC a new logo if they want it. Hope I’m not offending anyone there, but it’s not great.
