An Invitation to a Ball

Maybe you’re tired of the uncoordinated dance moves in the Granville clubs. Maybe you have a trace of aristocratic blood in you. Or maybe you’ve seen one too many Jane Austen film adaptations (especially the ones with Colin Firth in it–women, you know what I’m talking about!)

Come to the Billy Bishop Legion Hall (1407 Laburnum Street) and learn English country dancing set to live music. No experience necessary, as all dances are taught on the spot by June Harman. Dress casually: light clothing and soft shoes suggested. Sunday, October 4th, 7-10pm, $12 or what you can. You can find out more from their Facebook page.
