1327

The Vancouver Maritime Museum is inviting us for their new play, The Reckoning of Violet Jessop.

The Reckoning of Violet Jessop is based on the true memoirs of a woman who survived disasters on all three White Star sister ships: the Olympic, the Titanic and the Britannic. Facing the new prospect of land-locked existence after 42 years of service at sea, Violet must now come to terms with her past before embracing her new life. This play stars Jenny Abel as the titular character, and is directed by Tim Sutherland.

Now showing at the Vancouver Maritime Museum in Vanier Park, at 1905 Ogden Avenue, running on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from October to the 25th, at 8 pm.

Tickets: $20, $15 for students and seniors. Call the Vancouver Maritime Museum to reserve tickets at  604-257-8300.
