The Vancouver 2010 Winter Games Olympic Torch Relay is coming through the heart of Kitsilano on Thursday, February 11th and it’s going to be HUGE!
Here’s the complete itinerary for the day, but the most important leg is captured below.
A number of businesses around West 4th and Arbutus (Lululemon, Mavi Jeans, Gumdrops, Ray Rickburn, Beauty Bar, Watch It and Capers) are inviting everyone out to celebrate between 6:30-7:30pm where they will be serving some hot cocoa and cider. Considering the country’s reaction to the Torch Relay to date, I’m sure every business along West Broadway and West 4th will be making a big deal out of the once-in-a-lifetime event.

Does anyone know if W 4th will be closed to traffic at all and, if so, when? Thanks!
There are rolling closures for the Torch Run – temporary stoppages while the torch goes by. Don’t forget to cheer along Broadway too!
