Bibo Brings Traditional Italian Eating to West 4th

2408

I had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of The Bibo last night and be the first to sample the pizza`s fresh from the wood burning oven. (More on the pizza coming up!) Located at 1835 West 4th Street, across the street from competing restaurant Trattoria, Bibo`s platform is to bring real Italian food to Vancouver.

The BiBo Restaurant is owned by two passionate Italians, friends Lorenzo Bottazzi and Andrea Bini. Lorenzo and Andrea are promising a true Italian experience with many ingredients from Italy directly. The BiBo’s master pizza maker, Salvatore, trained for four years by one of the most highly experienced and prestigious pizza maker in Naples, Italy, home of the pizza. The 4 years paid off. The pizza is sensational and at $12 a pie, I believe it is a price Kits folk can swallow. Bad pun intended!

The Bibo Restaurant features a large, wood oven and has 3 main areas including the main restaurant, a stylish bar and a relaxing lounge.

The menu will include pizza and pasta dishes made from a selection of quality Italian cheeses, meats and olive oils with a range of carefully selected wines to match.

The first of many antipasto`s to choose from

The much talked about pizza`s fresh out of the oven

They take their olive oil VERY seriously
