The Vancouver Sun reported today that shacking up without getting married is more popular in Kitsilano than in any other neighbourhood in Metro Vancouver.
Based on the 2006 census, 6.5 per cent of Metro Vancouver adults live in a common-law relationship. But in Kits – specifically the area east of Vine and west of Maple – 19 per cent of adults are living common law.
