Kitsilano.ca celebrates 4,000 reader comments

2194

This weekend Kitsilano.ca hit a major landmark. We had our 4,000th reader comment. After 5+ years covering neighbourhood news, we’ve published 1,646 posts including this one. That means readers comment an average of two to three times per post. And that’s cause for celebration.

Our reader comments range from salient to informative, wise, witty and just plain cheeky. What do they have in common? We value them all.

Every time a reader comments, we perform our intended goal: to be a forum where you can discuss neighbourhood news. We’ve chewed on hot topics like elections, real estate, parking, car-sharing, bylaws, restaurants, retail, customer service and so much more. Kitsilano.ca has more reader interaction than any other community news site in the region, and that’s something of which we can all be proud.

Thanks for participating, agreeing, disagreeing, joking with us and providing Kitsilano.ca with local scoop. If there’s a story idea you want to see us cover, or an idea you’d like to write about, comment below and/or email me. That’s what we’re here for. The more community involvement, the better.

Have a story idea you’d like us to cover? Want to write about some new neighbourhood scoop? Comment below or  email me. It’s Taraneh@Kitsilano.ca.
