A throng of well-dressed women gathered in Kits boutique Wear Else (2360 West 4th Ave.) Tuesday evening for the annual charitable fall fashion show emceed by CityTV’s lovely Dawn Chubai and WE president Zara Mamdani. The audience sipped on Kir Royales as a comfy combo of real women and models sashayed down the catwalk in fall’s finest looks for work, play and party.

Attendees followed the trends closely, from Michael Kors statement boots to sapphire Jason Matlo cocktail dresses, preparing to bid on the items with proceeds from the catwalk sales going to BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre Foundation, which provides specialized healthcare to women in every stage of life.

As Mamdani pointed out when explaining the looks, WE  also bends over backwards to support local female designers. Overall, it was a lovely evening by women, for women.

If you’re interested in participating in haute F/W fashion and charitable giving, WE hosts another catwalk luncheon event Friday at Park Royal, from 11:30-1:30 pm. Tickets are $40.
