I miss having the farmers market in Kits, especially as I begin to plan meals for the holiday festivities. I just don’t make it to Nat Bailey Stadium for the weekend winter market as often as I intended. Nonetheless, I do plan to pick up some locally made gifts and tasty treats at the 16th Annual Holiday Market on Saturday, December 17 at the Croatian Cultural Center (3250 Commercial Drive) from 10am-5pm.
Last year I left with hand-made soap and jam as stocking stuffers, a pie, and a stuffed husband! Admission to the market is only $3 (and $2 if you print this web coupon). Come pick up a few gifts or treats, or simply say hello to some of your favourite vendors from the Kits markets this summer.
