Canada’s largest restaurant festival, Dine Out Vancouver, is back for the 10th year from January 20 to February 5. Tourism Vancouver launched the event in order to put bums into restaurant seats during the slow season by offering deeply-discounted, 3-course menus at the city’s best restaurants.
Dine Out Vancouver has 225 participating restaurants this year, with 31 in Kitsilano and the West Side. The wildly popular, 17-day event offers foodies three-course, prix fixe menus priced at $18, $28 and $38.
In addition to deeply discounted menus that will appease the post-Christmas budgets, Dine Out runs over 70 events and contests including Plated and Paired at Granville’s Public Market and a hot, new feature focusing on food carts, Street Food City.
All of the special Dine Out menus are now posted online, plus links to make reservations, which are accessed through the menus.
