As a sweet little “Happy Canada Day,” Vanier Park institutions Museum of Vancouver and the Vancouver Maritime Museum are offering Vancouverites free admission.
If you’ve never ventured in, both take a creative, interactive and easy on the eyes approach to education. Parents have to convince kids to leave, rather than enter. The appeal extends to adults too. When I visited MOV in April, the museum closed before I had a chance to get my fill.
Both museums will be open 10:00am-5:00pm on Canada Day.
