Eco Fashion Week, Vancouver’s premier green fashion event, returns Oct. 16-18 with runway shows featuring spring/summer 2013 looks. Kitsilano’s very own Nicole Bridger, the Queen of Green fashion, opens EFW with a special catwalk event at Vogue Theatre, Oct. 16.

Bridger is one of North America’s leading ethical designers. Her flagship boutique is on West 4th’s main drag at 2151, between Yew and Arbutus. Bridger was named Canadian Eco Designer of the Year in 2010. Her look is simple, effortless chic for the modern woman. The price points reflect the designer’s tailoring talent as well as her care selecting ethical materials. Browse her line here.

Tickets to Nicole Bridger’s Eco Fashion Week opening night event are $25. The fun includes the runway show and modern dance performance featuring Bridger’s fall 2012/2013 collection titled “Kali,” for the Hindu Goddess of empowerment.
