Earnest Ice Cream: Seriously Good, Vancouver-Made Ice Cream You Won’t Be Able To Resist

2648

There’s nothing quite so comforting as winding down at the end of the evening with a pint-sized jar of wholesome ice cream and your favourite designated dessert spoon.

Portion control? I warn you, there is no such thing when it comes to a lovely batch of Earnest Ice Cream made by Vancouverites Ben Ernst and Erica Bernardi. Folks, it’s seriously good.

The founders are ice cream connoisseurs who passionately believe that ice cream should be made with all natural and whole food ingredients, so that you know exactly what you’re getting in every scoop. That means no chemical stabilizers and nothing artificial. Pints are packaged in reusable glass jars.

With their creative flavours like Whiskey Hazelnut (the first flavour I tried; verdict = mind blown), Salted Caramel, Tahitian Vanilla, and more (including some vegan and seasonal flavours), there is no doubt that you would become an earnest fan of Earnest Ice Cream, as did I.

Earnest Ice Cream is headquartered in East Vancouver. They launched in a few locations in spring 2012 and have since spread to various vendors throughout Vancouver. Here’s a list of places where you can pick up these delectable pints in/around Kitsilano and surrounding area.
