Free Bread for Customers at Beyond Bread on Thanksgiving Day

2004

Beyond Bread

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Beyond Bread bakery in Kitsilano will give out a loaf of bread to their customers on Monday, October 14 as a way of giving thanks for their support (limited quantities available).

In addition, the tips on that day will all be donated to the Kitsilano Neighbourhood House:  a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing important social services to Westside community members. Kits House serves those who are more vulnerable while working to bring all residents in the neighbourhood together to create a healthy, safe and vibrant community.

A little heads-up: the regular bakers, Monroe and Marco are taking the day off, so loaves on Thanksgiving Day will be created by the newest baker, Marina and front of house staff.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Too bad their product is cooked more or less to death otherwise I’d buy some it used to be outstanding but all that dark crust and little insides means a less desirable flavour profile.

Yes it’s one way to do things and I know some Euros love their bread overbaked but not me.
