There’s an abundance of Easter events in Metro Vancouver so you’re sure to find something that suits your taste. Grouse Mountain’s Easter Brunch, the Eco-Easter Egg Hunt at Surrey Nature Centre and the Dino Easter Egg Hunt at Britannia Mine are all well worth the trip, or, if you’d rather stay local, check out these Easter events closer to home.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Kitsilano Community Centre, Saturday April 19
The Purple Pirate will lead an afternoon of crafts, games, dancing and pirate magic for little ones (ages 1-8).

Easter Train at Stanley Park, April 16 -21
Hop on the Stanley Park train, meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs (bring your own basket), and participate in crafts and a bunny-ears workshop.

Family Farm Day at Southlands Farm, Friday April 18
See Sweater and Sock get shorn on Good Friday and enjoy wool related events, a farm market, cinnamon bun making in the cob oven, farm tours, a bonfire and a horse show.

Easter Ride at More Bikes, Saturday, April 19
Dress up and decorate your bikes and go for a ride through Pacific Spirit Park trails. The best dressed rider and bike win a prize.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Roundhouse, Saturday, April 19
Hunt for eggs, get crafty, visit with the Easter Bunny and take home a loot bag.

Easter Egg-stravaganza at Maplewood Farm, Sunday April 20
Get up close with lambs, kids, chicks and bunnies on the farm and celebrate Easter with face painting, crafts, pony rides (on a first come first-serve basis) and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Bunny’Kins Family Skate at Sunset Ice-rink, Sunday April 20
Lace up your skates with the Easter Bunny and enjoy some delicious treats.

    Weekend carnival in Trimble Park at 8th Avenue and Trimble Street in Point Grey
    Watch the Saturday parade at 10am on West 10th Avenue with Marching Bands and community groups
    Enjoy free stage performances and childrens day camp at Trimble Park on Saturday only. While you are in the park, say hello to the 30+ exhibitors and visit the Silent Auction.
