In the last 365 days a lot has changed on the Vancouver craft beer scene. As in we went from having nothing to something worth seeing/drinking. Celebrate that and learn more about it at Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2014, which takes place May 30 to June 9. There are over 60 breweries participating this year. Vancouver Craft Beer Week has just released the lineup of events.

June 2: Hyper Local at Merchants Oyster Bar
Hyper Local at Merchants Oyster Bar offers six beer and six courses for $66, with Storm Brewing, Powell Street Craft Brewery, and Parallel 49 Brewing Company.
June 3: Battle of the Bartenders Beer Cocktail Competition III
10 Vancouver bartenders compete at Blackbird Public House & Oyster Bar in the Battle of the Bartenders Beer Cocktail Competition III.
June 4: PDX Brewers Delight
Portland Craft hosts PDX Brewers Delight, when brewers from the better version of us down south take over the taps. These include Ben Love of Gigantic, Ben Edmunds of Breakside and Alex Ganum of Upright.
June 6-June 7: VCBW Beer Festival Tasting Event
The classic VCBW Beer Festival tasting event takes place at Olympic Village. Over 60 craft breweries are participating in the event, which is presented by CRAFT Beer Market.
