Summer isn’t over yet and there’s still time to squeeze in a few more outings before back-to-school. We’ve been checking out things to do all summer and can assure you kids and adults will have a blast at these attractions:

Four Outings That Will Have Your Kids Raving about Their Summer!

Watch Frozen in Trimble Park

Enjoy Frozen under the stars on Saturday, August 23rd, at Trimble Park. Activities, which include, face painting, crafts, a photo booth, raffle prizes and a BBQ start at 6:30pm and the movie, will begin at approximately 8:15pm. Just bring your lawn chairs and blankets (in case the cold does bother you anyway).

Have a Pirate Adventure on False Creek

Arr maties! Dress as a pirate and set sail aboard a fifty foot pirate ship with the Pirate Adventures crew to hunt for sunken treasure in False Creek. I don’t want to give away any secrets but can assure you the 75-minute non-stop interactive action filled sail was hands down the most fun I had this summer.

Hang out at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Thrill seekers will love the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Cliff Walk and exploring the Treetops Adventure. The Rainforest Explorers Program encourages kids to investigate the rainforest and win badges. Then there’s the Story Centre, guided history and nature tours, birds of prey presentations, delicious food and great music from local entertainers. And BC residents enjoy unlimited admission to Capilano for a full year from date of purchase so you can keep going back as often as you like.

Explore Britannia Mine Museum

Rumbling underground on the mine train to learn the history of mining in BC from the fabulous tour guides is amazing and panning for gold at the Britannia Mine Museum is horribly addictive and will keep everyone busy for hours.

Totally going to take my nephew on the pirate adventure. I’ve seen the boat parked at GI all summer and wondered what it was all about. Gonna find me a Jack Sparrow!
