Excellent news. Free public Wi-Fi is coming soon to Vancouver. The city has awarded Telus a five-year contract to offer free public Wi-Fi at 43 locations around the city. The initial target locations include 26 community centres and other civic and cultural facilities. Kitsilano Pool is on the list. The city says contract negotiations have not yet been finalized with Telus but council hopes to have some locations activated by this summer. You can check out all 26 locations in Vancouver with free Wi-Fi here.
