Craft beer lovers, grab your growlers. October is BC Craft Beer month. The fun starts October 1 with a province-wide kick-off party at Central City Brewers (871 Beatty Street). Tickets are $20 and proceeds go toward supporting the BC Craft Brewers Guild. The party includes a tap-takeover showcasing seasonal and specialty beers from across BC. The ticket price covers entry and four 10oz BC Craft Beers.
Following the launch party, there are tons of events taking place all over the province ranging from fresh-hopped beer tasting to German-style Oktoberfests, which will give you an insider look at BC’s burgeoning craft beer scene. Even craft beer experts will find talented new BC brewers they haven’t yet had the chance to sample.
