This one has us excited. Brothers Keith and Neal Belovay have developed a cool new app to help the Kits community have fun and save money.

Kits Cheap Eats and Drinks (which just launched) exists to help students and those watching their wallets find the best daily deals in Kitsilano. It will save you time and provide an easy way to enjoy a fun night out and minus the financial hangover.

How it works? The deals are listed by day. Restaurants and bars include Elwoods, The Reagle Beagle, Bimini, Displace Hashery, Copper Tank, Yaggers, The Colony, Darby’s and more. Additional options are being added as deals becomes available.

Users can vote on their favourites and help their community quickly discover the best deal of the day in Kits. These are NOT paid for or curated lists, like other deal sites; it’s what’s actively available to help you save money. Check out Kitsilano’s new hub for intel on cheap eats and drinks: www.kitscheap.com

More on the brothers: Keith and Neal Belovay live and run their startup, PicThrive out of Kitsilano and wanted a better way for everyone to enjoy food and drinks without breaking the bank.

Their startup, PicThrive, is photo sales and engagement platform that helps tourism companies use photos to get more customers. With clients in the US and Canada, their company has helped businesses increase their photo sales, get more reviews on TripAdvisor, boost their followers and likes, run custom promotions, collect emails of new potential customers and more.
