According to a new report from global relocation site Nestpick, Vancouver is the best city in North America for millennials and 10th in the world overall.
Nestpick studied thousands of cities to hand-pick 100 places considered to be millennial dream destinations. They then ranked them using 16 factors, including transit, LGBT friendliness, and housing, to compile the ultimate Millennial City Ranking.
Out of the top 10 cities to make the list, Vancouver scored the highest on immigration tolerance and startup density.
“Millennials travel more at a younger age than any of their preceding generations; this gives them the possibility to find the perfect city for their personal needs” said Ömer Kücükdere Managing Director at Nestpick. “With aging populations cities must cater to the Millennial demographic in order to sustain a thriving economy.”
