The 40th annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival has released its full weekend schedule.
The festival, which takes place July 13 to 16 at Kitsilano’s Jericho Beach Park, will feature previously announced performances by musical acts such as Billy Bragg and Joe Henry, Shawn Colvin, Kathleen Edwards, Rhiannon Giddens from the Carolina Chocolate Drops, and Barenaked Ladies.
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival has also developed its own app, which will enable music fans to access info such as the festival map, artist bios, the full festival schedule, and exclusive deals on festival vendors. The app is available for download at the App Store and Google Play.
