If you’ve been planning to go for a swim in the Kits Pool this summer, you’re running out of time.
The Kitsilano Pool will be closing on September 5th and unfortunately this year there won’t be any last minute extensions as it is closing for renovations.
So take a dip while you can. Kits pool is currently open from 7:00am to 7:45pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 7:45pm on weekends.
Kitsilano Pool is Vancouver’s only heated saltwater swimming pool. The outdoor summer pool is 137 metres long (almost three times longer than an Olympic pool) and has 3 slides.
Because it’s so close to Kits beach, one of the top 5 beaches in Vancouver, it appears to be a turquoise extension of the ocean.
