Not in the mood to cook tonight?
Choose a meal from one of these three awesome spots that deliver right to your door, or pay them a visit as they’re not too far away from our Kitsilano neighbourhood.
The Pokéman
Hawaiian Poké has been having its day here in Vancouver lately and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. So, The PokéMan in West Point Grey is one of the latest spots offering these delicious raw and seasoned fish bowls, and they can be conveniently delivered directly to you. The PokéMan offers a nice 8-grain brown rice option, plus super fresh crab, melt-in-your-mouth seared tuna, sockeye salmon and more, and there are some vegan options as well. Try the decadent Kakigori for dessert – vanilla ice cream topped with matcha syrup, red bean paste, and condensed milk.

Rice Burger
As the name suggests, this newish burger joint, also in West Point Grey, makes Japanese-style burgers where the bun is replaced with compressed rice patties. Choose from the Spicy Chicken Katsu, Korean Spicy Pork, Ebi Tempura, or the Hawaiian-influenced Spam Musubi burger, and make sure to add an order of their addictive popcorn chicken and savoury kimchi fries to your delivery order.

Virtuous Pie
A modern take on pizza, Virtuous Pie has a few locations now, with it’s newest one at the UBC campus. Their three-day dough is topped with nut-based cheeses and fresh, creative veggies. Some meat options are available as well. Try the Stranger Wings (spread with spicy buffalo cauliflower), the Ultraviolet Express (with walnut and arugula pesto and pine nuts), or the Peking Express pizza (with hoisin pulled mushrooms and a cashew mozzarella). Don’t miss adding a pint of their plant-based ice cream for dessert.
