According to Vancouver is Awesome, Kitsilano’s oldest business on West 4th Avenue is getting ready to open a new restaurant onsite.
Family-run butcher shop Jackson’s Meat + Deli, which has been operating in the community since 1911, is getting ready to open a 50-seat restaurant.

“Butcher shop in the back, neighbourhood restaurant in the front,” is how Jackson’s describes their “Resto-Butcher” project.
The whole venture is run by Chris and Shayna Jackson, who are keeping the family business thriving six generations later.
