With construction slated to begin soon on the $2.8 billion Broadway Subway, the B.C. government is launching a second round of public consultation to get residents’ feedback on the exterior design of the six new stations.
In Kitsilano, the Arbutus Station will be on the northeast corner of Broadway and Arbutus streets. A bus loop will connect people headed to the University of B.C. with the 99 B-Line.
The online open house follows an initial session held last fall and is scheduled from April 29 to May 12.
The public is invited to give its opinion on the stations’ aboveground features, including entrances, plazas and other street-level aspects. The submitted input will be considered in the final street-level design of the stations.
