The Learning Disabilities Society has launched a COVID Catch-up Fund to help level the playing field, making sure ALL children in Greater Vancouver and throughout BC have access to the learning and social-emotional supports they need to succeed.
Children with learning disabilities have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. Many are falling behind in school, and their families are experiencing financial and related challenges.
Over the last year alone, the percentage of families who need additional financial assistance has risen from the historical average of 60% to 85%.
Between May 17th to 28th, all $5 donations will be matched with an additional $50 donation from one generous donor, up to $500,000.
