It’s awards season and Vancouver’s biggest coffee shop awards are back.
The annual Snobby Awards is open for voting and the Vancouver Coffee Snob wants your votes on your favourite coffee shop, favourite roaster, and best new coffee shop.
In the Best New Coffee Shop category you’ll find four Kitsilano locations that opened in 2022: Kits Beach Coffee, Lumine, La La Island, and BRIGHTSIDE.
Born out of the pandemic, Kits Beach Coffee started as a coffee bike but moved into the storefront at 1945 Cornwall Street that was previously occupied by Bean Around the World.
Located at 1965 West 4th Avenue, Lumine Coffee is a multi-roaster shop with house-made baking.
La La Island opened last summer at 2951 West Broadway and serves up espresso drinks and baked goods.
BRIGHTSIDE has taken over the space previously occupied by Just Another Coffee Shop (and Cartems Donuts) at 3040 West Broadway.
