The Vancouver Folk Music Festival returns to beautiful Jericho Beach Park July 14th to 16th with a brilliant roster of folk, roots and world music artists from over a dozen countries.
Included in the over 40 acts performing are the dynamic Cajun/Zydeco sounds of Cedric Watson & Jourdan Thibodeaux, Namgar from Buryatia (Russia), Newfoundland’s Rum Ragged, Blick Bassy from Cameroon/France, Calexico, Seattle’s 8-piece soul/funk outfit True Loves, and many more.
Visit the Little Folks Village, check out the global food on offer in Pete’s Eats, shop in the Artisan Market or visit the Beer and Wine Garden to savour the magic.
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is a unique community-based celebration internationally renowned for presenting the finest traditional and contemporary folk and roots music from around the world.
The Festival was founded in 1978 and held in Stanley Park. It relocated to Jericho Beach Park in its second year.
