Labour Day will be the last day of the swim season for one of the world’s best places for swimming.
According to an announcement made today, Kitsilano Pool and most of the outdoor pools across the city are scheduled to close on Monday, September 4th.
The Second Beach pool is the only exception and will stay open until Sunday, September 10th.
In previous years the Vancouver Park Board has extended the season when the weather has been hot but no luck this year.
