The Polar Bear Swim, one of Vancouver’s most beloved New Years traditions, takes place on on Monday, January 1, 2024.
The swim, which is celebrating its 104-year anniversary, welcomes swimmers (and spectators) to take their annual frigid swim in the waters at English Bay.
The event will run from 12pm to 4pm, with the program beginning at 2pm, and the official swim at 2:30pm.
Registration is now open and participants should register in advance to receive their participation certificate.
