The 4th annual CREATE! Eastside Arts Festival takes place this year from July 22-28, 2024.
The festival, created by the Eastside Arts Society, the same organization behind the Eastside Culture Crawl, is back with an expanded, immersive edition celebrating the diversity of performing and visual arts in Vancouver’s Eastside Arts District (EAD).
By partnering with local venues, organizations, breweries, and studios, the festival will co-present arts workshops, live music, dance, comedy performances, and live mural painting at various locations across the EAD throughout the week.
The festival will also return with an expanded version of its traditional all-day outdoor festivities at Strathcona Park, on Saturday, July 27, which includes a series of arts workshops, a beer garden, public art activations, an art shop, and – new this year – a concert stage featuring homegrown artists Haleluya Hailu, Fur Trade, and Sarah Jane Scouten.
