Aphrodite’s Organic Café, a cherished Kitsilano institution, has announced it will permanently close on Sunday, February 2. The café, known for its organic menu and community-focused ethos, cited rising business costs as the reason for its closure.
“We want to honour and celebrate our amazing staff, our wonderful customers, and our incredible products in these final weeks,” the café shared on social media, inviting patrons to visit before the closure.
While the café is shutting down, Aphrodite’s Pie Shop will remain open and plans to expand its offerings. Popular dishes from the restaurant will also be added to the pie shop’s menu, allowing customers to continue enjoying some of their favorites.
Aphrodite’s expressed heartfelt gratitude for the community’s support over the years and encouraged locals to visit before its final day.
