The Vancouver Maritime Museum is making waves this Family Day with a free, fun-filled celebration on Monday, February 17th.
From 10 a.m. onward, families are invited to dive into Vancouver’s rich maritime history through hands-on exhibits, interactive storytelling, and captivating live performances.
Guests can climb aboard for hourly storytelling sessions, marvel at high-flying stilt walker and musician Peter G-G, and meet real-life heroes from the Canadian Coast Guard. Adventurous spirits can also explore The Blue Cabin and admire handcrafted boats from the Oarlock & Sail Wooden Boat Club.
No need to pack a lunch—local favorites Tacofino and Triple O’s will be docked on-site, serving up delicious eats. While admission is free, donations are welcomed to help the museum continue offering engaging programs.
With so much to discover, this event promises a day of excitement for all ages. Just be prepared for a little wait as fellow explorers join the fun!
