Having only arrived in North America three years ago, and having kids that are not yet reading themselves, I can’t say that I am too familiar with the works of Lemony Snicket. But I’m sure it’s a big deal for lots of kids (and parents) that he’ll be making an appearance at Kidsbooks (3083 West Broadway @ Balaclava) on Tuesday March 17th.
Lemony’s newest book is a witty murder mystery set at the symphony in a story based on his collaboration with award-winning composer Nathaniel Stookey and aptly entitled The Composer is Dead…. Please join us on this special occasion when Lemony will be here to sign his books and meet his adoring (and delusional) fans.
The book signing event starts at 6:30pm and Lemony will be around for 3-4 hours. In order to get a book signed and have a brief chat with the author, you will need a ticket, which is conveniently included in the purchase of any Lemony Snicket book.
