Best deal in town – Canucks ticket & 3 courses for $99

Vancouver Canucks tickets are hard to come by this season. Every game is sold out unless you’re looking for a single ticket and it’s no fun going to a game alone unless you’re traveling solo on business to an Original Six city.

If you’re living local and wondering when the next time you’re going to be able to hit the jackpot on the Ticketmaster website or better yet have somebody give you their tickets to a game, check out Monk McQueen’s Dinner and The Canucks packages.  These guys have 40 tickets to every game and bundle them up with a three-course meal (taxes & tip included), valet parking, and a shuttle to and from GM Place, all for $99 per person. The seats were 2nd row in the upper deck with a face value of $50.

I went to the Blackhawks game last night and was treated to a sweet victory after getting more than my money’s worth at Monk’s. I suggest you get on this quick though – tickets are limited and they are only selling them for games through the end of December. Apparently restaurant renovations are in order in the New Year in the hopes of reopening for the playoffs.

While you’re online, check out the Canucks Blog. Kitsilano resident Steve McCarthy was faithfully posting until the end of September. I guess he got busy.

Thanks for the heads-up. I called them – they’re out of tickets. Crap. 🙁
