Seaforth Highlanders Change of Command Parade & Ceremony on Sunday, January 15th

1669

The Seaforth Highlanders Change of Command Parade and Ceremony is taking place tomorrow at the Seaforth Armouries  at 1650 Burrard Street and it’s open to the public.

Seaforth Highlanders of Canada officers Paul Ursich and Scott Raesler share a few milestones along their military careers. And this Sunday afternoon, in a historical and colourful parade and ceremony, the two officers will have one more thing in common.

During the Change of Command Parade and Ceremony, Lieutenant-Colonel Paul Ursich will hand the regiment’s newly presented Regimental Colours and Commanding Officer’s sword over to Lieutenant-Colonel Scott Raesler, the symbolic act of relinquishing command of the Seaforth Highlanders.

Sunday’s Change of Command Parade and Ceremony is being held at the Seaforth Armouries (1650 Burrard Street, Vancouver) and begins at 2 p.m.  The public is welcome to attend.
