Best Matcha Latté on the Westside

What’s the best way to kill 15 minutes while waiting for your hockey skates to get sharpened at G-Max Sports? Grab a matcha latté at Coco et Olive Fine Foods Café across West Broadway. With painted white floor boards, simple black iron tables, and a chalkboard menu, Coco et Olive could be transplanted to a side street off Saint-Germain-des-Pres and not be out of place.

According to the reviews on their window, the cafe was opened as a front for their food importing business – which explains the unique selection gourmet food including Illy coffee, fresh cheeses and organic olive oil. I’ve had my fair share of matcha lattés and this was the best one yet.
