Right now Cheapskates’ shelves are packed with ski suits, hockey equipment, skates, backpacks, bags and accessories. The prices are a steal and they drop 10% each week, so you if you’re a bit of a gambler you can hold out to see how cheap it can get before you buy. Of course, leave it too long and you may miss out.

3. Salvation Army Thrift Store
The Salvation Army and SPCA stores are the perfect place to buy accessories. They sometimes have ski wear and often have warm winter boots.
