If you’re reconsidering your decision to just “hang out with the children” over Spring Break, or you forgot to sign them up for activities this holiday, don’t fret. There’s still space in some great Spring Break camps in Kitsilano where your kids are going to have a blast. Here’s where to look:
The Yoga Buttons half-day camps encourage playful imaginations and active bodies through yoga, crafts, stories and games and they still have space in their morning and afternoon camps for kids aged 2-8. Contact Carolyn at carolyn@yogabuttons.com or 604-739-9642 to register.
Kitsilano Gymnastics has a few spots left in their camp based at General Gordon School for 4 ½ -14 ½ year olds. They offer full and half-day camps that are action packed with gymnastics, team sports, trips to play at Tatlow Park and a movie night. Email kitsilanogymnastics@live.ca for details.
Phoenix Gymnastics has space in their Kindercamp (5-6 year olds) at the St James Gym location. The enthusiastic instructors will build your little ones gymnastics skills and keep them entertained with arts and crafts and lots of games. Call 604-737-7693 to register.
Atlantis Programs and Pedalheads camps at Jericho are filling up fast, but there are still a few spots for level 2, 3 and 4 cyclists in their bike camps and some swim camp spots for pre-schoolers. Visit the website to pick the correct level and then call 604-874-6464 to sign-up.
Tiggy Winkle Preschool at Kitsilano Community Centre has space in their Spring Break Camp. Call 604-257-6976 to sign your 3-5 year olds up for a week or two of crafts, games, out trips, physical challenges and, weather depending, outdoor play.
