Eastside Culture Crawl
Thursday,November 20 – Sunday, November 23
The Eastside Culture Crawl, a 4-day visual arts, design and crafts festival is the perfect place to pick up unique gifts for the special people in your life. More than 350 artists will throw open their studio doors to the public in the neighbourhood bounded by Main St, 1st Avenue, Victoria Drive and the waterfront for the public to visit, learn, browse and shop. There will also be live demonstrations of leather work at Fiveleft Leather, screen printing for kids at melk art & design and outdoor film and video projections on the Parker Street Studios building. Yaletown Candy Town
Saturday, November 22, 12 – 7 pm
Mainland Street will be transformed into a Candy Town winter wonderland this Saturday with tons of things for kids and adults. Santa and the Ice Queen will be at the North Pole and you can take a horse-drawn carriage ride through Yaletown. Don’t miss the ice sculptures being created live at Bill Curtis Square, and enjoy crafts, face painting, live music, holiday shopping and delicious food at this free outdoor festival.
Lights of Hope Fireworks Display,
Thursday, November 27, 6:30-8:30pm
Head to 1081 Burrard Street, to start your holiday season with a bang at St. Paul’s Hospital’s annual Christmas-time Lights of Hope charity initiative. The light display, which is currently being setup by volunteers, will be unveiled on Thursday, November 27, after a countdown and firework display from 6:30 – 7 pm. There will also be food trucks and fun activities for the whole family.
