The U.S. was on the receiving end of North Korea’s fury over the release of the movie The Interview thought up and directed by Vancouver natives Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
It turns out, North Korea should have been blaming Canada.
Not only was The Interview created by Vancouverites, it was also entirely filmed here in Vancouver on a $44-million production budget using Canadian talent from October to December 2013.
Film locations included CBC’s Vancouver studios, The Ascot Lounge in Gastown and the Arthur Erickson designed Robson Square Law Courts which became Kim Jong-un’s presidential palace.
Ha! Details and hilarious photos of filming locations from here.
